Hopefully this site will help you with your restoration and engineering problems relative to an antique or vintage automobile, airplane, train, tractor, machine, or marine restoration project. We offer a wide range of manufacturing, testing, design, engineering, and restoration services for restoration projects.
Two principals that are very important to us from an engineering standpoint, were applied to this web page. Those principals are:

IF you have a difficult engineering or restoration project that is mechanical in nature (automobile, airplane, train, boat, or machine),
THEN KREM ENGINEERING may be able to provide the solutions needed.
KREM ENGINEERING can make or repair the uncommon, non-existant, or difficult components. This includes but is not limited to cylinder blocks, crankshafts, connecting rods, camshafts, cylinder heads, oil & water pumps, gears, pistons, and bearings. We will use the original manufacturing techniques, practices, and procedures when requested. Krem Engineering also does complete engine and driveline restorations.
If you require manufacturing, testing, design or engineering services, then the following services may be of interest.
SOME OF THE SERVICES OFFERED

KREM SPEED EQUIPMENT, INC. was formed in 1971 and provided both professional racing engines and engineering services to customers in NASCAR, ARCA, IMSA, LEMANS, TRANS-AM, NHRA, IHRA, and a wide range of short track dirt and asphalt sanctioning bodies. Today, our main focus is engineering services for engine components, concentrating on crankshaft and connectng rod design.

KREM CARS/RACING, INC. was also formed in 1971 and provided race cars and enginering services to primarily the drag racing community. Around 1990 the chassis business was discontinued and the primary focus became one of fabricating services for Krem Speed Equipment.

Massey-Harris tie rod ends which were badly worn. They had to be built up with brass and the ball remachined:

These are pictures of the making of a 1937 DeLahaye V-12 cylinder block. We made the mold, cast a cylinder block, and then completely machined it. We also made the cam bearings, main caps, and replacement cylinder liners.:

These are 1918 Liberty V-12 rod and main brgs that we remade:

These are pictures of a Soriano outboard engine main bearing and cam drive carrier.:

This is a pic of Soriano outboard engine center main bearing carriers made to accept modern insert bearings.:

This is an example of a typical flanged bronze bearing. This happens to fit the Soriano outboard.:

This is an example of a typical flanged steel backed babbitted bearing. This also happens to fit the Soriano outboard.:

This is an example of a typical gear with splines on the ID. We make many gears and splined shafts for most any application.:

Here are pictures of a Soriano outboard engine intake manifold.:

This is an example of of some bolts and castle nuts. We can make studs, bolts, and nuts to your specs.:

Here are examples of of some pistons, wrist pins, and pin buttons. We specialize in custom large bore billet aluminum pistons. For example, Liberty V-12's, Packard marine engines, and others such asScripps, Hispano-Suiza, Kermath, and Sterling. By contrast, we can also do very small bore custom billet pistons.:

This is an example of of some custom valves. We specialize in custom stainless valves whether they be it for a Packard marine engine or a Soriano as shown here:

We design and manufacture custom billet crankshafts for any application. Some are Bugatti, Duesenberg, Packard marine, Liberty V-12, Soriano, and Curtiss-Wright. Shown here are some Soriano crankshafts (note that the gears are integral with the crankshaft):

Here are some examples of of some camshafts and camshaft followers. We design and manufacture custom billet camshafts and followers for any application. Some are Packard marine, Liberty V-12, Buda, Lozier, and Soriano.:

This is a water pump for a Chris-Craft. We made new oversize gears, rebored the housing, and made new shafts:

We Have the ability to reverse engineer any engine or component and then manufacture that engine or part. We can even work from nothing more than pictures. Currently, we are reverse engineering a Packard 3M621 Gold cup engine including the transmission. We will then make a complete engine from scratch:
